Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Lesser known FAKE OUT/TEASE - 12/31/76 Here Comes Sunshine jam

I listed half a dozen times to be sure, and there is absolutely a Here Comes Sunshine jam during the Good lovin-and the same HCS jam bridges Good Lovin to a great, slowed down Samson and Delilah- a unique transition for sure-

The last time HCS was played at that point was 2/23/74 and as most of you know, it was retired until 1992. Take a listen- it is fairly obvious if you are looking for it.

It is not on the LMA as it is the next release from the vault- cow palace 12/31/76- BUY IT- this show is a corker all the way through- I first heard from a halfway decent aud on sugar megs- then I got this on cassette - and this is a low gen soundboard cassette- and listened to it a bunch-

Since I pre-ordered the vault release, I can send the original cassette to the first taker- just e-mail me a (new e-mail address)- mliamfinnegan at aol.com or post your e-mail here- I will be watching closely so if you want to put up your address I can make sure I answer and you can revise your post to omit the address

No on took me up on prior offers- do not let rumor on the board or aspersions previously cast to stop you from getting this fine show on tape.

that is a great show, no doubt about it. i had a (pre FM?) sbd given to me in '85, and it was one of my prized possesions at the time. i believe it is available at gdlive...anyway, i've always noticed that it was missing from the archive. can't remember noticing the HCS super fakeout. one good reason to listen to it again. has a great Scarlet and a super Help>Slip...>Morning Dew(?). Can't recall.
